課程概述 |
Course Description:
Students will participate in consecutive interpreting practice sessions every week, in which relevant knowledge and tips will be discussed to enhance students’ skills of interpreting. Speeches of various subject matters will be included in this course to expose students to as many fields of knowledge as possible. |

課程目標 |
Course Objectives:
1. To provide students with the basic knowledge regarding consecutive interpreting.
2. To enhance students’ proficiency in spoken English and Chinese.
3. To familiarize students with the process of transition between different languages, i.e. English and Chinese.
4. To help students understand the nature and prospect of being an interpreter. |

Requirements:
In-class participation and discussion are of utmost importance. Reflections and evaluations on the performances each time are required. |
